Compared to the 2019 Les Poëte Argos this is much riper, richer in terms of fruit flavors. Full on with pear and apple marks, citrus and stones. It has wonderful depth and complexity. And I’m drinking my bottles too fast. Påskefrokost 2020 at home.

Just stunning. Rich fruited, mineral, salty. Better on day 2, more complex and spicy which is to say that this is young. A far cry from the typical Sancerre flavors of grass, hay and flowers.

Citrusy, salty bouquet with aromas of pear and quince. Ripe fruited palate mixed with a chalk and stone. Medium to full bodied, almost waxy, with great depth. Another great bottle from Pinard and with more to come. Great wine.

From memory: chalk, mirabelle plums, agave, great bouquet. Focused and resonant. A noticeable step up from Nuance and Florès.

This was another very nice bottle from Pinard; the nose doesn't quite have the intensity or the minerality of the Chene Marchand which I think is my favorite thus far, but it has lovely citrus, floral, a hint of smoke, and crushed stone. Excellent density and balance. Disappeared pretty quickly.
