At or slightly past peak, decent rich dark blue-black fruits with bitter mocha notes and earthy texture, drink now.

A tad hot. Lavender. Dark berries. Interesting salinity, but not sure I'm a huge fan.

This has evolved significantly since my early 2020 tasting. Ready after a brief decant and has several great years ahead.

Dark. Powerful. Aromas and taste of blackberries predominantly. Excellent wine. Undertones of earthiness and white pepper on the nose and tongue. Wonderful wine. Drink now, but will probably age well for several more years. If only i had another bottle!

I always age my Malbecs and it pays off. Really enjoyed this bottle. Really great complexity with nice earthy and dark berry tones. Great spice to it and nice finish. One more bottle in the cellar to look forward to!

While the nose still seems that of a young wine, the palate is splendid...vanilla, cigar box and deep grape fruit are predominant and the tannins are present, but relaxing. My guess is, another year will significantly enhance this already excellent wine...cheers!

I feel this needs at least one more year of age to fully come together. A bit too grapey and tannic right now but it was enjoyable.

Saturated purple/ruby colour. Subtle but concentrated black fruits, gravel, beef jus, and smoky toast on the nose. Full bodied with ripe, polished tannins and a marked note of acidity. Finishes with fruit and mineral flavours. 4/5 A slightly different impression from my first tasting, but I had better opportunity to sculpt a tasting note this session.

From cold, wet, windy Patagonia this wine is much leaner than your average fruit bomb Malbec, it's much leaner but that's no bad thing. Lots of just ripe black fruit with a hint of herbaceousness, medium tannins and nice acidic finish and and some very soft well integrated oak makes this a very food friendly wine.

At nose revealing strong bouquet, harmonic but could ferment more in the bottle.

Nose is full of juniper & dark fruit. Mouth is open-knit fruit at first with the juniper berries, but then a big white pepper comes out with blackberry fruit. Grows on you.

Immediately, one is struck by the heavy spicy aroma and is shocked after first taste that the spices do not materialize in bulk and are left with a black pepper taste ‘on top’. Within the body itself lies a host of hints most evident being rosemary, thyme and mushroom with a lingering coriander aftertaste - hi, there might be a cherry or blackcurrant thrown in there...overall have with a good meat dish as the full bodied texture will make it …
