Med red Ripe, VR style of rich, ripe characters. Ditto palate. Perhaps in between youthful fruit and developed complexity. Fairly restrained. Try again in 5 years. Not a bottle that excited.

(Tasted hurriedly) Fresh but ripe aromas with strawberry tops, demerara sugar and some fresh herbs. A rather vicious entry with oven-baked strawberries, a pinch of white pepper, and tinned cherry. Bright acidity and sandy tannins help lift the mid and back-palate, but the wine feels a little straightforward and a touch confected almost.
