Malgrà Barbera d'Asti Superiore Gaiana

Easy to drink. On it's own - young cherry notes with good acid on the finish which gives it a nice freshness. Pretty straight forward, also a savory mid tone but can't quite put a finger on it - Cured meats, artichoke or olive...you be judge! :) Would have included tasting notes with a mushroom pizza but unfortunately we drank it all before he pizza finished cooking!
