Medium intensity garnet and showing quite a lot of bottle age. Moderatly intense nose. Huge inital wallop of spiced plum with red fruit. Still fresh redy fruit on the palate with long leather and farmyard finish. Remarkaly firm tsnnings still with lots of fruit Lovely bottle with plenty of ageing potential still.

rich, dark elegant espresso and dark berries. exotic spices, graphite, savoury leathers and undergrowth bramble. Lovely development, more bouillon umami than last remembered. Finely resolved tannins, pure, tall, elegant, powerful, delicate. An expressive wine, finishing long and ringing. Really excellent stuff!

(Weeknight w Mich&Bo) Violets, Pongy, mushrooms, perfumy dark berries. Earth, morello cherry, shrubby with fine leather. Rich, meaty, honey, umami, watermelon rind. Concentrated, ringing purity, tall, easy and balanced. Round, sweet, young, fine puckery tannins emerge with time. Considerable power and youth - will need a decade or so.
