Tasted at the winery as part of Thanksgiving week festivities. Best wine I tasted all day from a number of respected producers. Amazing nose with deep forest notes. Deep rich red fruit, with a bit of sous bois and a lengthy finish. Fruit is from Abbey Ridge in this bottling. Incredible and the best Westrey I've had to date. I hope my more recent Abbey and Reserve bottlings hit this level some day.

While there were glimmers there, both bottles I consumed over the last couple of weeks were over the hill.
