120,- (før 180,-) på tilbud hos Theis. Indeholder 10-20% merlot Udseende: Dyb rubinrød Duft: Mørke bær(kirsebær, brombær(Merloten?), lidt tobak. Senere forsvinder primærfrugten og tobak, læder og animalske noter træder frem. Smag: Kirsebær, tobak. Generelt mørke smagsindtryk. Faste tanniner. Kan lagrer 3-4 år mere uden problemer. Vinder utroligt meget ved iltning. Åbner meget op, men er ikke interessant nok over all, selvom de 87 point nok snarere er 88+ efter et par timer i karaflen.

Opened 2 hours. Not decanted. Medium-ruby colour. Aromas of cherry, plum, and currant. Medium-full bodied, good grip and acidity. Some darker fruits on the palate, including black cherry, black plums, and blackcurrant. Moderate finish, ~30s, with plum, currant, and a hint of peach. Very elegant and refined wine as usual from this producer. The wine screams "Italian," and more specifically "Tuscan." Great stuff, and would reward a year or two in the cellar.
