Remoissenet Pere et Fils Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux St. Jacques

This wine has seen better days, but remarkably it's still alive and even pleasant to drink. It's tempting not to score an old wine like this, as, in it's prime , it surely would have garnered at least a 92. Nose of iron, and almost completely lacking in varietal character. Good color and very little sediment thrown. If you have any, drink up!
