San Pedro de Yacochuya Torrontés

i remember this wine from when I was in argentina in 2008. very much the playful wine i remember (terrontes, salta) - such opposing nose vs taste. golden straw color. begins with riesling style nose - elderflower, lychee, butter, maybe little clam juice saltiness with secondary fermentation smells. taste is opposite the nose when first open and colder: clean, crisper with a touch of nuttyness, white pepper and good tart fruit (tangerine, lemon). as it opens, becomes really full leaning …
