A spicy soft cherry note with hints of cedar and tobacco. No sour notes at all. The palate is taut, clear and fresh. Good level of minerality. Medium-bodied structure which has some bite at the edges. Transition to the finish is quite smooth. Lacking the depth of some Brunello. Lean and savoury finish.
