Compared to the 2015 we just drank, this bottle is much fresher, more vibrant, and showing much more acidity, while balanced. Drinking well now, but would love to check in in another 2-3 years to see some evolution. Though if you like to drink your Burgundy fresher, do it now. Notes of lemon, unripe kiwi, luscious honey at its core.

Very decent - nose of hazelnuts, toasted oak, honey, pear and nectarine. Fat and a bit flabby but decent acidity and touch of minimality to balance the richness

Lacking any kind of definition, cut, or structure. There is a good amount of acid but it's still somehow flabby and flat. I'm not an expert in the winemaking process but I think something went wrong here – it was an A+ vintage after all. Maybe it needs more time? I've found this to be consistent amongst all 3 of this producers 1er cru Meursault sites for the vintage. Unfortunately I bought too much of all 3!

Smell good, crisp and drink well, but not as structured as the 1er cry white burgundy drink a day before this one
