Pop and pour. Lovely, but no detailed notes.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The Harmonie pours a bright straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with lovely notes of yellow apple, white flowers, star fruit, lemon curd, limestone and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. 2021 harvest, Dec 2022 disg. 100% Chard, 1.5 g/L dosage. Pop and pour. Notes from Day 2 open. On the nose: pure lemon, soft clove, loads of minerality. Soft mousse, on the palate good acidity, lemon, lemon oil, stone and denser on the finish. Solid.

Bright orchard fruit and citrus with plenty of textural pleasure, but slightly lacking richness.

Another nice bottle of this. Golden hue -very pretty color. Tight, energetic bubble. Citrus and pear notes. Nice balance of fruit and structure. Creamy at times. Very lively. Good buy in today's champagne dollars.

Grapefruit citrus on the nose. On the palate, yellow apple, grapefruit, and notes of yeast and white flowers on the medium finish, with a fine bubble. This was an average to good value at about $45.

Disgorged 20/12/2022. 1.5g/l. Some citrus and a little floral on the nose. The palate is crisp, citrus and apple, a hint of cream. But a touch of bitterness and somehow the overall mouthfeel isn't working for me. It's hard to pin down why, but overall this isn't really grabbing me: there's nothing wrong as such, but maybe just not to my taste.

Powerful strawberry fruit to start. Fairly aggressive bubbles. This one packs tons of flavor. If you are looking for finesse, this is not it. Calms down with time in the glass but red fruit is very much at the forefront.

NV Marie Demets Rosé Brut Chmpagne Gyé-Sur-Seine. Moderate clear pink Nice mousse and mouthfeel. Crushed strawberries predominate More savory finish. Quite nice

More fruit than I like (just personally), it has some mossy yeasty compartments where the fun stuff hides. Christmas crimson, cranberry, strawberry melon, minty Douglas fir and brioche. Has some umph. Concentrated bitter sweet back and forth that's all play.

Dry on the start. Bead a bit rough. Strawberry and husk fill the mid palate. Finish is more refined if not a bit short.

How on earth is this 1 g/l dosage extra brut? This must have the most RS of any champagne I’ve ever tasted. Some bruised red apple and oranges on the nose. Intensely, shockingly sweet citrus on the attack. My initial thought was this was a sec or even demi sec, not extra brut! Imagine a bolly sc with lots of citrus sweetness and focus.

Midsummer Roses: 3rd Annual (Matt and Brenda's, Minneapolis, MN) : Medium salmon color. Small pour. Been a long time since having this. I really enjoyed it. Clearly a bigger style, but well balanced, nice berries, chalk, raspberry, spices, good acidity. I like the freshness and texture, very clean.

disgorged 20Dec22 with 1.5 g/l dosage. Loads of grapefruit and floral hints on the nose. The citrus is much more restrained in the first sip though, melding wonderfully with nicely ripe apple. A really nice champagne that drinks well out the gate.

NM 387.001 Aromas of raspberries, brambles, some yeast/brioche. Palte with rabspberries, unripe strawberries, bark, minerals and brown stems. Nice acids on a medium body. Also with a nice finish. Tasty but not that complex.

Filled with juicy red fruit and just joyous to drink.

Certainly a darker, more vivid color than many rosé Champagnes, yet it still maintains a freshness that helps its appeal. Delicious with food yet also on its own.

Peach and strawberry on the nose. On the palate, strawberry, yellow apple, tangerine, and notes of spice and yeast on the medium finish, with a fine bubble and good acidity. This isn't as frizzante as most Champagne. It was a good value at about $40.

Ruby pink color and ruby pink grapefruit peel on the palate! Also raspberries and some crispness on the palate. Delightful if a bit simple and it strikes a balance between dryness and fruit.

Not the most serious or complex wine, but this certainly packs a punch of juicy red fruits. Strawberry, pomegranate and cherry notes, along with a hint of rhubarb. Very clean, refreshing finish and a decent value for $39.

Opened tonight with grilled steelhead, a brilliant combination. Creamy, robustly fruity, with a mineral edge. Really lovely.

Distinctive style of rosé Champagne with particularly strong influence from the red grapes taking the color closer to ruby than pink. Often rosés this deep turn out fat and fruity but this is crisp with especially incisive acidity (seriously, don't drink this if you have sensitive gums).

Delicious. Drained.

House rosé, love this bottling, especially at $32 USD. Strawberry, tangerine, lemon, chalk and white pepper zing. Energetic acidity on the moderately long finish.

The color is a beautifully deep salmon. Don't get me wrong: as I've said before, this is s very nice sparkling wine. There are lovely notes of crunchy apple upfront, as well as more brooding, red-fruited notes on the mid-palate. There is also a refreshing tinge of bitterness going down. What is missing for me are the yeasty, toasty, brioche-like notes that make me love Champagne over all other sparkling wines.

This was a bit disappointing. The color was fabulous, but the wine was otherwise pretty nondescript. A good sparkler to be sure, but it largely lacked the deep, yeasty, autolytic notes I expect from Champagne.

Delicious rosé. No formal TN.

Tasty bottle of rosé Champagne. Strawberry and raspberry aromas on the nose, with a white pepper spice and some chalky notes. The palate is a nice reflection of the nose, with energetic acidity and a bright and lingering citrusy finish. Drink now through 2022+.

Big almost excessive sparkler. Chewy and rich; not to be drunk on its own.

Really nice rose Champagne...

Strawberry, nectarine, rhubarb, and slate. Beautifully balanced acidity, nice cut on the precise, strawberry-laden finish. Gorgeously vinous Champagne. Drink now through 2018+.
