Saturated golden yellow. Beautiful semillion nose: waxy, lemony, starfruit. Lanolin, hints of honey. Overripe honeydew melon, some baking spices and tropical hardwoods. Crisp, elegant and finessed entry followed by a clipped mid palate, and medium length, dry fruit and acid oriented flavor profile of starfruit. Hints of lychee and am I imagining eucalyptus leaves? A nice, elegant, finessed and medium complex semillon. With the right dish (something like baked scallops and brie) this would be a big hit. Wish I …
