Really enjoyed this.

Fresh and fruity to the nose, slightly blander on the palate, cherry fig and hint of Tabasco. A little acidic on the follow through but went well with our pizza and a very pleasant wine for a movie

Mild chianti. Nothing spectacular but paired well with simple spaghetti meal. Good Italian table wine.

Pleasant enough. I gave it a swizz with my frother (because waiting for an opened bottle to aerate seems to me a fool's wait) and it returned a mellower, softer flavor than when tasted upon opening. Good table wine for an unsocial meal.

Started out very dry and acidic, but opened up to be slightly lighter and fruitier. Drinkable, but not a favourite.

Acidic, no backbone but still held up ok with red sauce. Fair flavor that is an acceptable daily wine.

No nose, medium body, medium acidity. Garnet color, cherry, with light finish. Held up fine to Red sauce. A ok every day wine. No finish on the palette

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like raisin and cherry. It tastes like cherry, fig and tobacco. The body and finish are medium. The wine has high acidity.

I was concerned by previous comment, but I think this was a decent pizza chianti. Medium length and good cherry fruit. Not great on it's own, but nothing wrong with it for the price. I don't mind having one more of these.

Dry and overly acidic without any prevailing fruit notes. Decanted for over an hour and still tastes like a bad table wine.

PNP, just ok , shows much better in 2+ hrs, has a acid level that needs food. basic chianti, decent buy @ under $9

Pretty good wine. Nothing spectacular. Will not buy another bottle. The first bottle was a gift.

started out a bit funky but mellowed over several hours; needs food - Italian is likely choice , it is a Chianti ! A Wall St Journal selection so good price point and I wasn't expecting too much. A decent basic Chianti

Nothing special, but it went well with the pizza we had ordered.

A very pleasant Chianti! Doesn't have the super-harsh tannins of many Chiantis, a nice change, especially for a 2009. Went very well with pizza. Unremarkable bouquet, slightly grape-y flavor but mellow aftertaste.

Very solid Chianti, strong tannins, fruity flavor and bouquet, but nothing special. Paired well with spaghetti, a fine wine for basic Italian food.
