Very interesting wine. The nose of cinammon, corriander and cloves with notes of flowers and cherries is followed by the tastes of sour cherries and cranberries. Medium finish that leaves something to be desired.

Tasted 8-2-09. Deep dark ruby color. Lovely nose of forest floor, strawberry, tart cherry, spice, bit of sassafras, & lush caramel underpinning. Aromas remiscent of PN fruit from Sleepy Hollow Vyd. in a good year. Unfortunately, had this as a pop & pour, which did not do it justice. Still young. On the palate, less intensity than the nose, somewhat less lushness & complexity, medium weight, reasonable length finish. Wanting more, esp. the complexity on the palate that I know …

very good pinot that was in New world Style but had some subtle leathery notes. I am going to keep my next two for a couple years to see how it ages.

I had this wine over two nights. While good on night one, it was better on the second night. The nose had notes of cherry, cranberry, resin, flour, and some indeterminate spice. It reminded me a bit of some of the RRV pinots I've had. On the palate, the wine had just a bit more weight than the nose would suggest. Not heavy and unpleasant, more of a needing time to unwind type heavy. Nice acidity that provide balance to …

Great nose. Hints of leather, cherry all the things we love in pinot. Nice mouth feel not a "thin" wine at all. Went great with roast chicken. My first bottle from Mount Eden. I will get more

This wine continues to improve. Nice nose of light, red fruit and a bit of vegitation. A light mought-feel with flavors of rasberry, strawberry, and mushrooms. Good, moderate finish. I love this wine!

Nice ruby color with a fair amount of sediment on cork and in bottle - that made me feel pretty good about this wine from the beginning. Left in glass for about 30 min. Nose has upfront earth, fermented soy, spices with hints of dark cherries and raspberries. Palate follows with upfront spicy earth, mushrooms, minerals, fermented soy followed by dark cherries and strawberries. Nice smooth texture, very good acidity, and medium bodied. Moderate but good lingering finish. 13% alcohol. …

Nose - sweet red fruit, there's a rustic note and a touch of rhubarb, strawberry jam. Minerally, pert, ripe strawberry, red plum, flint, rhubarb, soft dusty tannin, round feel. Very enjoyable now and should show good maturity in about 5 years.

A wonderful Burgundian-style pinot noire. Medium body, fruit forward with red raspberry, plum at mid palate, good acidity and silky tannins lead a nice finish. An excellent value.

This is an excellent Pinot. A beautiful nose of strawberries, sweet cherries, leather and minerals. The wine is medium bodied with good structure. Flavors of berries, cola and earth play on the palate with just enough acid and tannins to balance the fruit. I will decant this for a couple of hours (minimum) next time as it just kept getting better until it was gone. Medium finish. This wine should continue to improve for another couple of years.

Medium ruby red color that is very Burgundian-like and the body on this wine is also very Burgundian-like as well. This wine is Mount Eden's secondary Pinot Noir, but it still has plenty of acidity and tannin for medium to long term aging. This wine needed to be decanted overnight for everthing just to start to come together. Aromas are very perfumey, red berries, cola and even some floral notes as well. On the palate, raspberries, cassis and cola. This …
