Drinking really well. Black cherry flavor, mouthwatering acidity, some tertiary flavors and complexity to show its age. It still has some structure but velvety tannins that are mellow with the fruit still there. Pretty much everything I could want from aging this Barolo. I can’t see it being much better for my preferences.

Ripe to maybe a bit over ripe on the nose. Just a little bit of rasination.

Nice round mouthfeel. Present, but not overwhelming tannins. Plump fruit. Quite nice

1st place in recent Barolo Tasting. It beat out $160 bottle of Massolino. Not bad for $45.

this was very good... Decanted for 30 min prior to the first glass and consumed over the course of 1.5 hrs... rose, crushed stone are the immediate notes on the bouquet, ruby colored in the glass with medium legs. No sediment in the bottle and as it opened up I got notes of strawberries, red currants, ripe figs, sour orange, freshly picked cherry & pomegranate with an exceedingly pleasant mineral back drop and a hint of forest floor. As it …

2nd and 3rd passage barrique. And a beautiful rose petal on the nose. Powerful on the palate but with some fleshy and then crunchy tannins to it. Very powerful indeed.

1 -2 year old french oak, 40% new, rest used. Really expressive on the nose and then a bit tighter and more refined on the palate. Really tasty.

This is quite tannic. Not a lot of change after a couple of hours decanted. i would wait a few more years.

l'Insieme Tour Graz 2019: I have never tasted the Giachini vineyard Barolo by Grasso before. The 2015 is quite masculine, tannic, slightly bitter and gamey with a touch of brett, rose perfume on the finish. Still closed and tannic. Needs patience. - 89+ points

Nose: rich, concentrated, fresh fruit. Sweet liquorice, tar, honeysuckle, black olives, forest floor, a whiff of eucalyptus and a nice warmth. Palate: Potent and elegant. Well structured, firm tannins, good grip. Pleasant, dry finish. Overall a really good wine with plenty of life ahead. Worked really well with game. Recommended.

Very tannic. Hold maybe another 10 years, seriously.
