Great QPR on this Rhône blend. Smooth, good fruit but also some earthiness and funk. Would buy again.

Heady nose now. The palate is rich with a mineral through line that builds to a full-bodied and hedonistic finish. Exhibit A for blending grenache with syrah.

Not my style. Tasted more like southern Rhone than Syrah - but your clearly sense the quality and I am sure this would be a great wine for others with different taste in style

color of purple/garnet. nose of leather and red fruit. taste: although tannins remain there is great balance of fruit and alcohol, well structured in the mouth. the wine is alive with spice but it's not overwhelming. black pepper and clove? the taste resolves in the back of the mouth and throat with a long finish...> 2 minutes.

Deep ruby. Relatively subdued nose. Graphite elements, a bit of blackberry jam. On the palate, the first thing that struck me was balance. This is a wine made with old world values, nothing jumps out at you, and that seems to be the point. It’s going on 9 now, and this is surely its drinking window. My sense is that this is what wine was before all the fuss, before the fruit bombs, before the need to satisfy reviewers with …

We asked for the 2019 Hominis Fides and the Sommelier at Le Bon Georges countered with this. Our first time and a worthy, for now, choice. Big bold Syrah, powerful but not heavy or over extracted and in no way out of balance. Young for sure but welcoming and worked effortlessly well with our cheese course and a wine to look for. A very solid 92

Has really luscious fruit at the core, with fig, black raspberry, and blueberry compote. Good acidity and structure. Slightly simple, but the fruit profile is so delicious, I'd buy again for sure.

Muted but floral nose — violets. Gives way to a dense and serious wine for a CdR. Notably smooth, balanced, and more mineral than sweet. Dark. Thumbs up.

Medium purple Nose: Big brett notes, garrigue. Mouth: Juicy pomegranate, studded with blueberry and boysenberry accents ripples through, leading a hint of reduction and roasted thyme in the midpalate, as crushed rock and laid back tannin are left to clean up on the back end. Overall: Friendly and open knit, with good energy and lift at the end following the succulent core of fruit. Fun to pick up and down, and the balance of grenache and syrah is deftly done …

Muted nose Brings a weighty savoriness to the palate, overall a very muted right wine with soil and minerality. Shows intent and quality winemaking

Sur l'olive verte, le lardé fumé digne des grands Côtes du Rhone Ampleur et douceur. Tannins feutrés. Belle longueur. À boire sans tarder.

Enjoyed the wine, a good syrah/grenache blend. Didn't jump out of the glass, but definitely high quality wine

Syrah 50%, Grenache 50%. 40yr old vines. low yield of 25hl/ha. Took at least an hour in the decanter to open up. Medium intense nose : ripe (little bit "cooked") black fruit and garigue herbs. Smooth start and body, almost velvety. The 50% syrah gives the wine grip but the ripe fruit remains on the foreground. Medium finish. Generous but well balanced CDR. Tasted older vintages of this wine that prove the wine can still evolve despite being the entry …
