Botijo Rojo Garnacha

Bright, shiny and rather sweet. Will settle yet. I'd give it a couple of years.

It's the vv. Has dark fruit and black cherry and strong mineralirty. Fresh

Notes of leather and grilled plum. Spice that lingers. Easy drinking.

Seemed a little green to us. Gonna' let the other bottles sit for a while.

he Botijo Rojo is an explosion of berries, with notes of sweet spices, pepper, and earth attempting valiantly to provide some balance against the onslaught of fruit. A wealth of berries (mostly red) were present on the nose and palate, both fresh and baked - two of the strongest notions I had were of cherry or strawberry/rhubarb pie.
