Earthy notes with cherries and a nice somewhat bitter touch.

Nydelig frisk frukt, saftig og mørk fin farge - skikkelig deilig Chianti :-)

Tasted at the winery. Very tight and restrained, especially when compared to the Solare. An old fashioned Chianti Classico whose style was a surprise given the modern style and layout of the winery. Levander, earth and liquorice on the nose. Mid-bodied with firm and dryish tanins that need cellaring. Fresh red fruit and high acidity. Long finish. From 2015.

Ultimate Parker in Singapore Mega-Tasting (The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore) : A bit hard to judge at this point. Plenty of quality, but very tough at the moment. Nose was a little tight, but really nice. Plums and earth were mixed with savoury minerally scent and dried herbs. Palate was even more tight-fisted. There was clearly some pure fruited sweet cherry flavour, and decently fresh balance, but all that was buried under layers of tightly-wound, very firm tannins. Clearly well made, …

World Gourmet Summit: Chianti Classico Wine Fair (St Regis, Singapore) : Nose: Thick and robust nose. Beautiful greens and basil notes on the nose, mixed in with fruit. One of my favourite noses of the event Taste:Elegant and delicious sweet cherries (not fake ones) on the midpalate which lingers to the end. Nice and complex with earth tones.
