Dark with the slightest hint of bricking at the edges. Full-bodied nose - leather, baking spice, cedar, forest floor, plum and cassis. Black currant, blackberry, black cherry and dark plum fruit with maybe a touch of pink peppercorn on back palate. Subdued acidity. Very balanced - maybe as a result of the Merlot and Cab blend. Definitely in the style of St Emilion. Drinking very well now.
