A ripe colour, not too sweet, raisins, elegant and balanced.

Raisiny with occasional citrus notes. Well executed but simple, walks right up to the line between sweet and cloying and stays on the good side. Perfectly acceptable at my price of $25, but not special enough to seek out again.

Consistent with previous bottles. Medium mahogany in color, this Port showed dried red fruits, raisin and plum on the nose. The mouth feel brought a candied orange undertone along with just enough heat from the alcohol to keep everything in moderation. The finish was well integrated with the heat fading away and the raisin and orange peel notes coming back. 20% abv. Purchased for $20US/750ML. this is an excellent 10 year tawny and a great qpr at this price point. …

Very good QPR. Nice Mahogany shade fairly translucent. Firm body and structure but not overly syrupy. Deep Molassas on the nose and palate follows with candied plum and hit of anise. Balance is good throughout with a lingering mid palate finish that flows to the back and disopates. This doesn't replace the complexity of my 20 year Taylor Flagate tawny but sure does hang in there for the price point. Happy to have nabbed four bottles of it. 8/8/7/7/7 - …
