Has improved considerably. Nice surprisingly complex nose of herbs, earth and dried fruits. Mid weight in the mouth. Firm grape based tannins on the finish make this more rustic and for me more interesting and rewarding than the all too often riper, oak laden versions that are exported from the region.

Nose of herbs, earth and plum. Medium weight by Languedoc standards. Good acidity on the finish. Not complex, but well balanced and not at all over-ripe.

pours a medium, dusky ruby. not bricking yet. chocolate, dark berry fruits, clay, and herbs on the nose. moderately acidic and full bodied. stony palate with lots of dense blackberry, currant, and plum. not too much heat. goodly amount of round and integrated tannin. clean finish with moderate length. big wine. good for what it is, not at all my thing.
