Maybe (at present) a notch below recent vintages like 2019 and 2021 but nevertheless a good everyday pizza/pasta wine.

The towns of Tuscany (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : Baked red fruits, very slight band aid notes, a little sweet spice and oxidative notes. Medium plus intensity acidity , muted fruit on the palate, tannic rasp is drying. Meh.

Few years past it's prime. Drank side by side with a 20, with the ideal wine presumably being somewhere between these vintages.

Fairly rich and dense, drying tannins that may benefit from more cellar time, dark black cherry and some olive brine character.

This is a really fresh and lively Chianti Classico. A bargain at its price.

Vin Chicago Pickup Tasting (Bobak's Signature Events) : Retailer tasting. Plum. dark berry fruit and coffee notes. A bit atypical for Chianti to my palate, but tasty nonetheless.
