14.5% abv. Blinded by my brother on this. On the nose, I was in the Bordeaux-variety camp - perhaps Merlot or Cabernet Sauv. On the palate, I was immediately in the new world, warm climate, as this was fruit-forward, slightly sweet, and a bit jammy. I guessed 2022 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauv, $20 price point. Very nice, purchased a case from K&L at huge discount making this an outstanding buy at about $12 incl tax/shipping. Wine is powerful, good ruby color, young and should age well for about10 years. Now it's very pleasant and good with hearty meals. Drinks very well now and I think it will improve with age. This is from the Estrella District, Giacone Vineyard, Paso Robles.

Well intergrated cab tannins have softened. Smooth drinking with lots of dried fruit in the background.

Well made cab. Relatively easy drinking and has everything that a cab should have. The tannins are there but mot over powering. A short finish.

Decent QVR. Currants are prominent on the front. Very short finish. Tannins are tame.

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), cherry and vanilla. It tastes like black currant (cassis), cherry, oak and vanilla. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low to medium acidity. At this price, this wine is a steal.
