Light golden yellow; appealing, tart pear, ripe lemon, almond nose; tasty, medium bodied, lemon, mineral, light almond palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish (delicious with some yellow tail sashimi) 92+ points

Drank with wine group and was rated 1st or second best white of the night.

Solid wine, if not quite particularly standout. Pretty nose shows less oak than the Magnien but not quite the concentration and balance. Pretty pear and apple fruit, with good acidity and minerality. Medium finish. B+

Interesting showing. Armatically, has a little whisp of sea air and toasted oak. The palate is quite nice with the apple and honey flavors, that are framed in by the lime and toasted note and a tonic water note in the finish. With the amount of acidity and apple in here, there is plenty of crispness to keep this doing fine for some time, although I don't know this producer's track record with premox but where ti stands now, drinks …

Intense nose of honey, nuts and peach with faint floral notes. Very round with lush fruit on the palate. Nice oak treatment. Medium plus finish. SS 91pts.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL) : Tasting, brief note. Ripe and fat mostly peach. Very forward and fun, but not my preferred style Meursault 1er. An extreme 2009.

Drank it faster than it opened up. Showed good acidityconsidering the vintage. Light nutty marzipan.

2009 Burgundy Vintage Tasting (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)) : Creamy buttery nose. Rich and fat. nice mid palate of minerals. Good fruit showing. Nice.

Baked pear on the nose. Clean, vibrant mouthfeel but a touch short. Needs 1-2 years to flesh out. 88+

Very vegetal nose and palate - not for me.
