Simeonidis Chardonnay Idypnoos

Tired but drinkable. Nose with aldehyde notes along with honey, white fleshed and tropical fruit. Palate with some considerable weight, medium acidity and a nutty aftertaste.

A pleasent surprise. Despite showing signs of evolution this has aged surprisingly well. Med-dark straw with golden hues. Lovely bouquet of honey, beeswax, ripe apple, banana and pear. Medium-bodied, creamy-textured with nicely preserved fruit, moderate acidity and a medium aftertaste. This is an unoaked chardonnay from the Pangeon region of Northern Greece's Macedonia.
