From magnum, at work party. Definitely ready to drink from large format. Began to fade after some time in glass.

Fruit bomb, not a ton of acid, but held up against some stronger stew. A bit too grapes on the palate and arguably over the hill, but still an enjoyable experience. Purchased direct from the winery last year as an experiment.

Bottle was subjected to heat during delivery. It still managed to impress- A lot of action upfront almost overwhelming. grainy tannins that stain everything. Pair.

Rich dark fruit on the nose & palate, quite fruit forward as tannins have faded. No decant needed, drink up.

Beautiful rose-violet red. Strong Alcohol on the nose with hints of dark fruit and chocolate on the nose. Rose petals, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, plums, all on a silken texture. Cocoa powder dominates the finish; rich, decadent, and delicious.

Dark chocolate powder, ripe blackberries combined with raspberry tartness. Rich, luscious and drinking great right now.

Tannic structure falls apart fast. Do not decant. Time to drink up.

Decanted 90 min. Nose of fig, blueberry, mango, and shitake mushroom. On the palate, medium-bright acidity and quite soft tannins. I would consider this to not be age-worthy beyond this point. Time to drink up.

Pnp. Magnificent nose. Complex and elegant. It will probably continue to improve but if I had more I would drink it now.

Huge nose of dark fruit, with firm tannins that have softened over the years but are still prominent/dominant, even three hours after decanting. Palate: blue fruit, cherry cola, a little limestone.

Very nice. Well integrated with a hint of oak, licorice, black fruits, and maybe eucalyptus. Broad and warm mouthfeel, and long even finish, if abrupt at end. Evolved a bit on second day, but better.

Fresh strawberries. Soft tannins. Not sure what kind of aging power this wine will have. Odd and somewhat disjointed combination of flavors from strawberry to cocoa powder. I'm hoping these will integrate better over time, but this wine doesn't seem to have the tannins or acidity to age for more than 10 years or so especially given the similar limits aging potential of prior Money Road Ranch wines. The Gargiulo OVX has a very different and more age-worthy structure.

Dark cherry & blackberry nose, rich dark fruit, hit of cocoa on the palate. Tannins have softened and are well integrated. Still good overall structure and drinking very nicely now. Probably want to drink up on this one as it's peaking

Strong notes of Napa Cab Pencil Lead along with black currant, black pepper, and a little cherry. Tannins well-integrated and complimentary.

Soft and fleshy, elegant and ready to drink upon opening. Well integrated tannins and ripe red fruit flavors, leaning towards raspberry. The team at Gargiulo's vineyard are warm and friendly and will make you feel right at home. A beautiful spot in Napa and a unique tasting room experience. Love the pistachio tray and the spectacular back balcony setting.

Again big decant helps tremendously. Subtle fascinating wine. Low oak influence, or fully integrated. Either way, fresh plum notes intermix with rose notes. Nice length.

From memory. 4 hr decant. Wow, what a change from a bottle 6-8 months ago. Mild nose of sweet corn, brown sugar, small plum notes. Beautiful palate of violets and small plum notes. Nice acidity lifts into a long finish where a little white pepper says hello before leading to a long finish. Delicious and unique cab with fruit element on the palate I have rarely encountered. Hard to score as it was decidedly different from my expectation of a …

Popped and poured. Drinking good now. Nose of blackberries, plum, cassis, eucalyptus. I agree with the previous tasting note that the wine is clean (I noticed slightly heightened acidity, but it works well with this style). Everyone really enjoyed the wine. I'll hold my remaining bottle for a good while....I'm curious to see how it evolves.

Odd. Almost no nose. Low flavor on palate. Medium ++ finish was all this really had. I am thinking flawed or something with bad storage. One dimensional, linear, tannic leading to the velvety finish. Like I said, I found it very odd.

The wine looks Garnet colored. The legs are Medium. It tastes like and Mineral. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Fleshy texture. The wine finishes Medium. In truth, this is just as I opened it. With an hour, I expect this wine will open beautifully because it is so well-structured and has a unique flavor quality.

Earth, herbs, forest floor, blackberry, espresso bean, licorice, mint and smoky black cherries combine for a complex set of aromatics. On the palate, the wine is fleshy, pure, clean and rich ending in a voluptuous, black cherry liqueur finish.

An exeptional full bodied Napa Cab, complete with well developed raspberry, leather, chocolate and plum on the palate. We decanted for 2 hours and enjoyed with kobe beef and purple asparagus. A perfect companion. We were first introduced to this wine at the vineyard where Jeff Gargiulo joined us for a glass of wine. Not only was he (and the team) warm and friendly -hugging us when we left - the wine was exceptional, leading us to purchase 2 cases on …
