Raptor Ridge Pinot Noir Atticus Vineyard

Medium garnet. Nose not showing a ton on the PnP, some dark anise. About medium in body. Crunchy red fruit at first, but then some soft black cherry. Drinks with a pleasant cherry cola profile. Pretty tasty stuff.

Bright medium ruby. Nose is expressive and pretty and displays sweentess; cinammon. Palate is quite generous. Dark fruited, black chocolate, bitter cocoa. Refreshing. This is in a great spot right now and I really like it, but not one for the AFWE crowd. While not massive in alcohol, I guessed it was 14.1 ABV and that's exactly what it is.

Very surprised there are not more notes on these wines. All have been great. The temperance hill was more of the same. Bright red and black cherry fruit, some dark strawberry, a little sweet but nicely balanced with juicy acidity and soft tannins. Pretty much all you want in a pinot - enough complexity to be interesting. complexity is brush, mushroom and forest floor, all typical pinot. Not gamey at all, very fruit driven. Red and black cherry fruit, lighter, very fresh with light tannins. Juicy and delicious.
