Principato Rosso

Very standard red table wine from Italy. Berry nose, and no tannins.

Better known as the Olive Garden house red, found this wine at a local liquor store and thought I'd see what it was really about. NOSE: On the nose we've got alot of jammyness and sweetness coming through, pretty standard stuff, decent nose. PAL: On the pal this wine falls a little short, first impression is that it is a little watery and the flavors to be found on the nose don't extend themselves into the taste. Finish is lacking …
