Nothing has changed. A delightful wine. Luscious body, Deep dark red (almost black) through to the edge. Bouquet of fruit (dark berries and plum), spices and a whiff of pepper and seasoned oak. Delicious across the palate, fuller bodied, smooth tannins, balanced acid, fruit working really well with the wood and no alcohol heat. Savoury, smooth and delicious. Still very young and likely good for another decade. 93

Tasted about 12th on the night so no detailed note, but I was impressed the colour was still purplish and the fruit was very fresh. Beat expectations and was popular around the table.

Sehr eleganter, körperreicher Wein mit toller Struktur. Nicht marmeladig wie einige andere Shiraz sondern sehr ausgewogene Frucht mit viel Nachhall. Ein großer Wein für mich.

This is the real deal from McLaren Vale. The Cellarmasters "Limited Release" Shiraz 2015 was very good value for the price but this is a significant step up. …

Decanted 3h after opening. Very deep, almost opaque colour, still. Attractive vanillic, spicy fruit on the nose. Palate very smooth, with plums, damsons, lots of spice. 6h after opening, it had all the above plus developing cherry and cherry stones, blackcurrant and blackcurrant acidity. The wine is not 'hot' to my palate, despite its high alcohol content. There is sufficient acidity and the palate persists for a long, long time. I do not think it is on the way down …

Plum and dark berry arome. Palate medium finish and smooth with a lingering mint. Time to drink up.

Very dark color, classic aussie Shiraz notes, fullbodied with a medium-long aftertaste, some residue. Still fresh and fruity. Will keep for another 5 years but is peaking now.

Plenty of plum flavours. Some choc, some nougat, a bit of turkish delight (but not a very sweet one). Decent Shiraz. Not too fruity. Not too woody. And thank god not too sweet. From my point of view a little bit too much alc. Very down to the earth Shiraz for an acceptable price. Even in Europe.

Sweet cola, blackcurrant and oak nose. Fairly simple but delivers on the Southern Aussie promise of big, bruising but polished shiraz. You want to get it while the fruit is still fresh so now and over the next 2-3 years or so. 88+

Opaque purple in the glass. Ripe black fruit on the nose with some powerful oak and that old shiraz favourite of Paul S - latex. Quite a big mouthful of plums, blackberries and anise showing decent, if not quite pinpoint balance. A little tight. Surprisingly not showing too much heat noting 14.5%. Good spicy, coconutty oak comes through nicely, and not too strongly, as it dives towards a blueberries and cream finish of medium length. Excellent QPR from this £12 …

Wine Education Service - Masters of Australian Shiraz (LSE) : Thick purple, opaque, minimal age. Muted nose, distinctly understated and delicate, very attractive. Spicy fruit with heat from the alcohol, intense and complex, full bodied, black fruits return in the finish, good length, needs a couple of years to fulfil its potential.

Very interesting wine. Had this wine in two occasions. It is very concentrated with colour deep ruby to dark Purple. I don't think I have seen wine as purple as this one. Smell of strong swiss luxurious milk chololate, cinnamon. Palate is very creamy and full. Teeth was stained dark with this wine just like pintia. Not a eveyday wine for sure!

nose is still close, can still get hint of ripe dark fruit, minty and sweet, strong mineral on initial attack, supported with a creamy texture and fine tannin. Medium finish
