Tenuta L'Impostino Maremma Toscana Lupo Bianco

Medium ruby, getting close to garnet. Clear. Smoky, aged leather, potpourri, dried and fresh rose petals, strawberry, fresh oregano, dusty trail, dried plum, vanilla, mild baking spice. M+ ripe almost powdery tannin that is especially beautiful on Sangiovese. M+/H acid. M+ body, but drinks in a more restrained thoughtful style. If it costs what I expect, the QPR is fine, possibly a touch low. A very good wine that's drinking very well for nine years old.
