Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Bodega Thieriot

Drank my last bottle. LOVED it. "Brooding" was an apt descriptor. Such an interesting nose. Darker fruits. Medium acidity. This is one to max out the allocation on.

Absolutely stunning nose, with red, orange fruit and a sea-spray salinity. You just keep smelling this. A 100-point nose. Delicious and long on the palette butless effusive there than in the aromatics at this point. I imagine that will balance out over time. So much upside here. 94-97

With the 2023 incoming, popped open a 2nd bottle of the 2022. Still a stunning, refreshing pinot at this "young' age. Medium body - thin with mouth coating tannins. Good acidity to keep the mouth watering. Great on its own but could see myself pairing this with a pork chop.

No tasting notes. But really liked it. Only decanted about an hour.

Pop and pour. Ready to go! Juicy Red fruits, real fruity. Love the nose, star anise and black licorice. There’s enough acidity there to keep it interesting, even after the 4th glass, and mouth watering. Stock up!
