Darker style, intense red spice, a touch of smoke, long acidity balancing what would otherwise be a fruit-heavy mouthful Reminiscent of Clarendon Hills from the 200x vintages, and likely to last as long.

Hitting its stride, which is totally seductive. It’s a rich style, while balanced by bright acidity, and has red and blue fruits at the forefront. Finishes with admirable length; hedonistic through and through.

Double Decant. Very dark and Glass staining color. Layered blue and black fruits. No harsh edges to speak of but a noticeably tannic wine that is built for the long haul. Would not have been able to blind this as a Grenache. Honestly this could use 10 years on its side.

According to their marketing material, this wine should not be consumed until 2024, but i could not wait. It is so good! Bright, sweet raspberry with a hint of green herbs on the nose. Good acid and subdued tannins made the pairing with grilled pork chops in a brandy cream sauce superb. Long, fruity finish. Will try to hold on to the other bottles for a while. No promises though!
