Rockway Glen Estate Winery Vidal Late Harvest

Had it decorating Easter eggs. Was sweet but not syrupy. Light and refreshing. Would definitely buy it again.

This is sweet like a Icewine but very light and crisp

Pale gold; bread dough, peaches, table grapes; semi-sweet, apricot, tropical fruit, good acidity, good balance, lingering finish. Yeasty and minerally on the nose, more like a sparkler. Impressive however when tasted; lovely sweetness and balanced, citrusy acidity. With a few exceptions, vidal is better this way than cloying icewine.
