Pink grapefruit, quince, mirabelles, incredibly sweet, medium density but stunningly long finish

A lip-smacker. Light gold, languid legs, honey and peach on the nose, with a hint of fig. On the palette a riot of mangos and passion fruits and vanilla. Slightly oily with a lingering finish. Our companion suggested it might accompany foie gras - I think i disagree. This is a special wine with a modest alcohol content, and merits savouring all on its own. My next bottle will lie low until well into to the 2020s and perhaps beyond.
