A dull wine. Taste of tropical fruits dominates a mediocre flat wine. Where is the crispiness or the minerals so typical of well made Riesling? Look elsewhere.

I am generally a big fan of the Jacobs Creek range as they provide affordable, well-made (albeit not massively exciting) wines to the general public. This, however, was a huge disappointment. The nose was alright, kinda spritzy-citrusy-rocky but with that smell of cheap white, the 'fake fruit' smell. On the palate it is sour and uninspiring and even lacks basic Riesling character - if it weren't for the high acid, steeliness and fleeting lime flavours, this could be the £3 …
