Golden yellow color with some oxidation. Nose of florals and citrus. Tastes of citrus, apricots, melon, and chalk. Fully integrated oak.with crisp acidity. Medium to full bodied. Drank with multiple older chardonnays and Burgundies; held its own with them.

Served too cold to start. As it warmed the wines nice varietal characteristics started to show. Soft and well balanced. I enjoyed this one.

Last bottle was the best. Almost like a pouilly fuisse.

Pleasantly surprising, shows a little heat on the finish but not overdone. Rich yellow fruits, firm acid, if a little sour showing and a creamy soft oak finish.

A ripe stone fruit nose, the palate is ripe but understated with plump melon fruit and nice subtle nutty vanilla oak on the finish. Well balanced and enjoyable.

Tasted at The Sampler. Too much oaky flavours for my liking.

Organically produced and it shows with balance and delicate flavours. Can barely sense the oak used and I love a dry chardonnay from the new world. Not often I even drink California chardonnay...burgundy is king...but, this is worth having by itself or with any dish!

Straw color. Nose: lemon/lime citrus, white peach, apple, and pineapple core with accents of caramel, bacon, vanilla, and powdered chalk. Medium/lighter body on the palate: tangerine, lime, white peach, and green apple framed by subtle touches of vanilla, graphite, and cream. Medium+ acidity. Lingering chalk, graphite, lime peel, and apple skin on the moderate finish. The subtle oak frames the fresh, clean fruit very well. Straightforward and perfectly balanced.

Still quite bright gold, with green shine.....drinking quite nicely! Crisp lemon, apple, melon fruit...with a good dose of sour and tart citrus acidity, as well as some oak to cream it up and balance it well, but the good amount of minerals and flint to it tip to the crisp side. Great florals, some flint smoke...does have some edge to it with some heat...but drink it at cellar temp and it works. Very underrated imo.

Francine food wine tasting 1 : Medium straw, yellow stone fruit, peach, some vanilla tones on the nose. Dry, high acidity, fruit driven, zest, medium body, very well structured, long crisp finish. Great Chardonnay. Value/money = 9.

Good, light and crisp. Would have scored higher, but couldn't get past the almost sparkling affect on the tongue when drinking...

Claypot Rice with Chards and Burgs (La Chaseur, New Bridge Road) : Clearly new world, but nicely made and rather enjoyable. Certainly better than the St Veran on the same flight. Nose showed sweet notes of creamy vanillin, ripe red apples, white peach, honey and flowers. Pretty nice, if just a bit on the sweet side. The palate, not unexpectedly, was rich and fleshy, with sweet pineapples, peaches and apricots. Modern, rather simple in its fruit-forwardness, but well balanced enough …

Under rated. Crisp acidity with fruit and balenced oak. What a chardonney should be. Awesome with Pork tenderloin in in apple Creme Fraiche sauce, Julia Child Squash and haricut verte.

Good notes of pear and vanilla. Round, full feel without being at all heavy. The oak is very nicely done without the slightest hint of a heavy hand. Drink now

Late Sep 2010: golden amber color; intense fruit aromas/flavors; slightly acidic on the palate. Seemed to be a non-Barrique Chardonnay for me.

The nose of this wine had citrus and tart green apple aromas. The palate had pear and apple flavors with some good acidity and a medium-long finish. Not overly complex, but very easy to drink. This is a nice wine for a hot day.

Night 1: Nice tart acidity make this a nice change from some flabby CA chard. Citrus notes, not overly complex, but nice and refreshing and cleansing on the palate. Night 2: Nice again, but no great complexity, just refreshing and nice tart acidity.

A nice Chardonnay that went quite well with our crab soup tonight. While not a "wow" Chard, it had a good soft mouth feel with a nice oily texture and medium acidity. Light nose; has light oak and giving off some buttery taste with a bit of green apple and pear flavors.

Napa Valley Vintners Association (Fleming's Steak House) : nose: good citrusy nose of tropical fruits, lemon peels, bits of oranges, and round tones of pears taste: good medium feel with medium+ acidity and tones of pears, lemon peels, and oranges. Well balanced with good weight as well overall: a quality chard. Nicely balanced with a good tart citrus base to it that isn't overly fruity nor is it big and toasty either. Has a medium quality to it that is …

Full bodied wine with white and yellow fruits and a firm dose of good oak which the fruit can handle. Not extremely complex, but certainly a very pleasurable wine.
