No detailed notes, enjoyable, similar "Syrah-light" thoughts or something like "mountain Syrah" it shows dark berries and forest floor and scrub and is medium bodied with an enjoyable finish with just a bit of grip.

Hard to nail down but this is a versatile wine. It has some Syrah-like characteristics, but lighter and brighter. Tannins are a bit drying. Held up well the second night. (Lots of sediment)
