#PlanetBordeaux : A 50/50 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. I’m really digging the color, like a neon pink and candy apple red mixed together. Bright on the nose, like McIntosh apple and wild strawberry dashed with some sea and salty notes. Rich on the palate but balanced by tangy acid. Strawberry and white cherry fruit with some pepper and slight tobacco thrown in. Crisp throughout, dashed with minerals, but it carries some weight as well. Enjoyable stuff for the …

Today's Bordeaux (W Hotel, Chicago IL) : nose: really nice nose of strawberries, lemon zest, and nice minerality that's kind of hiding underneath taste: very pretty strawberry tones with bits of lemon zest overall: a really good rose that is great for sipping and has a nice fresh and easy feel to it with a bit of acidity to give it that extra oomph

50% Cab Franc, 25% each CS Merlot. Light strawberry nose, and lots of strawberry up-front without much of anything else. Not tart or acidic, not quite off-dry. a nice picnic or (at 12%) sippin' wine
