Even better showing than my last one. This is only a village and 2016 not really the best white vintage either, but this wine really delivers in the Ramonet style. Pop corn nose, lime, herbs, oregano intermixed with light oak spices. Light and fresh palate without being thin, creamy. Long finish. The bottle was gone in a jiffy.

Beautiful signature nose of ramonet with grassy reduction aromas intermixed with lime and sea shell. Precise and light without being thin. 93+

Delightful with lemon-lime accented orchard fruit. Plush fruit and crunchy acidity. So easy to enjoy now.

Ripe and dense with so much apple and baked apple, all balanced and very tasty right now, but I think this is a wine to best enjoy young given its ripeness, now through 2025.

Ripe apple and baked apple with impressive concentration for its level. Rich while balanced with a reasonable clip on its finish, but probably best to enjoy over the next 3-4 years.

Enough complex and detail over Village wine

Ripe, with a lightly candied feel to the flavour profile. Rich and round. Sappy on the back-end.

Domaine / Jean-Claude Ramonet Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 4, Visit 4) (Chassagne-Montrachet) : Tasting at the domaine. Better richness, concentration and length vs Chassagne. Ripe apple and baked apple throughout, again with very good balance already young. Best to enjoy now through 2024.
