Pre-release tasting of Catena Zapata with Ernesto Bajda : Secondary aromas immediately on the nose, cedar, pepper. Hot climate Cab profile. Sweet fruit, better complexity, spice and savoury tones dominate. Good acidity, still fresh. Nice but just slightly heavy— could have done with less power and more finesse.
