Such good value! Earlier (March) note says it all.

Continues to impress as time has allowed the aromatic fruit at the heart of this wine to shine. Viscosity and minerality balance each other out. Now 91pts and at its peak. Drink by end of decade while grip maintained.

Nice, medium complex nose: some peach and other exotic fruit. Very voluptuous and rich taste, some acidity, rounded, nice after-taste. Can last a couple of more years but is perfect now, not sure it will improve as the acidity will fade as well and thus the freshness which it has (limitedly) will fade. Fantastic effort in a very good year for white Northern Rhone. kudos for the Chapoutier team again, I woud buy / drink this wine absolutely again!

In the few months since my first note has filled out and hit the excellent 90pt level. Much as my earlier note but with a viscosity that gives counterpoint to the mineral core. Excellent and at its peak till the end of the decade. Good value at the price. 90+

Really good. Steely minerality, dry with closed fruit that needs perhaps 12 months to come out of its shell. Possibly needed a bit of breathing time as (force majeure) PnP'd. I like my wine steely dry so loved it but should for most palates probably be left till next summer at earliest. Would expect to make the excellent 90?+ over next year or two. Excellent value in my book. Should be good till at least the end of the decade.

Northern Rhone visit April 30, 2014; 5/8/2014-5/15/2014 : Tasting room visit- Aromas of slate, citrus zest, earth and butterscotch. The palate shows honeyed notes of stone fruit and spice, silky and fine, with medium acid and a medium finish. Nicely balanced.
