Benoit Rosenberger Loup des Vignes

Lovely nose that was a little reduced at first with some brett and barnyard notes, but opened up nicely with air and tasted a lot cleaner after a couple of hours. At that point, the nose was very elegant with red cherries, decaying leaves, strawberry, and still a bit of funkiness. Nice acidity on the palate with a more fruit forward flavor profile, cherries, wild strawberries, and blood orange. Nice finish. Beautiful natural wine. 94+

A coup de carafe did it some good. Very vibrant, strong acidity for a Gamay. Quite nature in style but well made. No brett/stink.
