Glenmore, Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River

14% There is some very, very deep blackcurrant fruit on the nose with eucalyptus and a certain metallic edge. Quite concentrated attack. Powerful, very concentrated, almost condensed fruit. Moderate tannins seem to give a slightly rubbery note. A bit strange on the finish and after, feeling a bit dumb and raw. Interesting, I suppose. Will it age? Don't know. A surprisingly poor match with a roast rib of Dexter beef.
