Keep coming back to this wine and it doesn�t disappoint. Nose is earth, mineral, some bacon. Big wine pairs well with red meat. Long finish.

If I had tasted this blind I would have certainly thought it was from Northern Rhone - more specifically, a Cornas. There's blackberry, black pepper, clove, licorice, and meaty flavors on the palate. The body is full, the consistency is rich, and the intensity is deep and pure. The tannins are well integrated. It has a medium and dry finish. For a $35 WTSO wine this is a great dollar value. I'd buy more it they were still available.

Holy black licorice batman! Intense black fruits that are over-powered by licorice, anise, vanilla and eucalyptus. With some air more black and red fruits emerge as well as some bacon and ham juices. This is velvety smooth and very hedonistic. Great value but if you are not a new world fan� stay away.

Really gotta slow down burning through this stash. It�s just exceptional stuff. This time around I got a bit of funk on the nose reminisce of a Cote Rotie or a Cayuse. Plum and earthy tones abound. Below this is some bacon fat after an hour of air. Bold is the word complex is the operation.

This wine doesn�t get old 😀. What a great balance of boldness and punchiness. The fruit is young and bright but concentrated. Classic Syrah notes of earth and tobacco. Some hint of bacon. Levo has to be one of my faves.

Syrah dominant blend of 91% Syrah, 6% Petite Syrah and 3% Roussanne. Vinous rates it 93 and JD rates it 94. Out of the gates this beauty has an incredible nose of blackberry and plums. Poured through an aerator, gave it 15 minutes, dark fruit at the front without being sweet, well balanced with some acidity, smooth as silk tannins, nice spice and lingering finish. Delicious! I only purchased two bottles and am kicking myself for not having purchased more. …

A great wine with lots of aging potential. PNP dark / black fruit on opening. Some gaminess but not overbearing. Taste is complex, this is big, spicy, but not overpowering. Finishes elegant silky smooth.
