Oxidized and smelling/tasting like mushrooms. More like a dry sherry. Suspect cork taint.

기름진맛이 온도가 올라가면 향이 나면서 마시기 좋아짐. 약간의 산도가 살아있음

This is a nice, bold, salty white Rhône blend. Would drink any day. 30% Viognier, 30% Picpoul, 20% Marsanne, 6% Clairette, 6% Ugni Blanc, 5% Bourboulenclocal, 3% Saint Cosme

I reserve the right to adjust rating once I better understand the full rating system! Lol I'll start by saying I like this wine ... High acidity, med aromas of apple, lemon, peach, slate, and a small touch of oak/spice. Balanced ... Not "simple" but not a lot of complexity. Dry, Med alcohol, med body, med flavor intensity, med+ finish. Good wine. It's refreshing and drinkable... I could see enjoying this in the summer with seafood and/or salty appetizer.

Loads of fruit here, with Pink Lady apple and unripe peach notes leading the way, and hints of spice weaving in late. Simple and tasty.

We’re at the apex of a heat wave in the Valley when our AC decided to give up the ghost. Grilling outside seemed the best course to help keep the kitchen cooler (no such thing as “cool”). We threw a couple of pork tenderloins on the grill with a bit fo smoke, a bit of spice and bit of sweet from locally picked, recently sourced peaches from Chiles in Albemarle Co. This wine performed perfectly with honeysuckle, apricot, qince and …

Dry with a bit of pear, with a hint of petrol and minerality. Nice acidity and medium long finish.

Pale gold Nose: White flower, lanolin, light lime zest. Mouth: Smooth yellow apple and white peach, and yellow plum notes glide through on a lightly slick frame, taking up beeswax and blanched almond notes ahead of a light finish of lees spice. Overall: Glossy and easy, but showing nice structure throughout. The sculpted midpalate keeps this persistent ahead of the lighter finish. Drink now through 2022. 90.

Pale yellow. Intense nose of peach, honeysuckle, almond and lychee. No real notes taken (damn shame b/c the wine deserves to be remembered), but it left a real impression of pleasure, completeness, satisfaction and attention to detail. Damn.Fine.Wine. 14% alc. With cheeses and crusty bread. Recommended but with a nod toward Highly Recommended.

Nose of honeydew, white tea, and nectarine followed by melon, candied citrus, and almond. I thought this was a Marsanne based wine while I was drinking it... and now that I'm looking it up it turns out to be Marsanne, Viognier and Picpoul according to WS and WA, a clever and charming blend. <$15 made for a very strong QPR, I'd buy more if I could.

Nice over a couple of nights, not a standout, but nicely done. There is some roundness and ripeness, but this is not a flabby Rhone blanc, my guess being that they harvested slightly green to retain freshness. A bit of texture. This seems made for early enjoyment.

Lovely Southern Rhone white drinking nicely right now. Pop n poured a glass to pair with a seared sea scallop over a bed of eggplant purée with spring greens at Roux 30A in Florida. The pairing was pretty good, wine by itself even better. Golden in color, citrus, moderate glycerin and body, mild acidity as typical for the regional whites. Pretty mild complexity -- not much, moderate finish.

The winemaker is Louis Barruol on a family site adjacent to Gigondas known for its high limestone content. With this as my first bottle, I wasn’t certain what to expect. It certainly did not disappoint. A blend of unknown percentages of Viognier, Picpoul and Marssanne; probably not equal percentages, but likely to be close to equal. The vibrant, light yellow reflects a youthful wine. The nose is bright and crisp with the distinct Picpoul cleanness and plenty of wet limestone. …

Plenty of fruit, with stone fruit, honeydew melon, and apple notes throughout. Tasty, but could use a bit more acid.

Big wine. Viscuous blend with heavy perfume (viognier, I'm guessing) on the nose and RS-laden finish. Would have liked it less if I hadn't served it with grilled opah in a sweetish-kumquat sauce.

A lineup of wines from the South of France in Carpe Diem wine bar (Budapest) : Such freshness in a warm climate white. It’s elegant and wonderfully clean too. Lovely citrus and peach aromas. The texture reflects the sunny origin, though, it’s oily, thick with some heat on the finish. Forget if you look for a crisp, acid-driven white, but it’s a nice wine.

Drinking over several nights. Fairly deep but transparent yellow color. Nose of melon, nectarine, and maybe nectarine. Also present is a waxiness or maybe lanolin aspect. Medium plus body and medium plus acidity. Pleasant wine at a nice QPR.
