Barnyard, with a metallic smell that blew off quickly. Good mouthfeel, nicely complex flavor and a mineral backbone, but a little lacking of core fruit. Great color. Went well with steak and broccoli with a spicy cheese sauce. Another nice Walla Walla blend.

This wine may be on the decline but palate still had nice notes of brambly blackberry, ripe plum and pepper. Reasonable acidity but finish tailed off quickly.

Kinda disappointed in this bottle as I was expecting much more. Very little fruit in balance to the acidic tasting tannins almost to the point of being abrasive. This is a wine much more to drink with food than by itself where it really doesn't shine. Okay,, had to come back and revisit my rating since the wine improved considerably after given some time to open up. Even though the strong acidic/abrasive taste toned down considerably, the wine still presented …

Four of us liked it but we weren't overwhelmed. A refined style, with less fruit and more mineral than I expected. Picks up steam on the midpalate and has a nice finish.
