Dinner at Park Palace with the IT guys (Park Palace) : This was interesting... Decanted. Deep dark-red. Started with an almost sweet nose with a straight-forward medium-bodied palate. As it got more air, a more complex nose developed - ash, tobacco... It also gained considerably more weight in the glass. Dark-fruited, licorice and chocolates. Tannins are well-concealed behind the fruit. Would've been much better had its length been longer. Should improve with bottle-age...
