Unexpectedly pleasant with wild berry, earth and spice flavors. Balanced, fruit forward, lean and tart; not complex but a real crowd pleaser and a very good value. Definitely not age-worthy but good introductory Pinot. It's southern French (Burgundian style), and its Pinot Noir at it's most basic level.
