Red Fruit backbone, opened up considerably over the evening recommend decanting. Tart, slightly green, nice bouquet. Purple, deep color, no legs but slight heat.

Beautiful. Aromas of red fruit, chalk and green peppers. Medium acid and tannins, flavors of under ripe blueberries and raspberries with a strong green peppers back ground. very savory. Long finish, mineral driven, wet stone-like. Delicious wine for those, like me, that like savory wines, it is green but with fruit to counterbalance. I suspect it will be phenomenal in 5 years.

K&L Loire/Alsace tasting (K&L, San Francisco) : Brambly, stemmy, red fruit; good structure, nice fruit, medium-bodied; nice finish. Young, solid, enjoyable. Wait 1-3 years. 91+

Chalky, plum, decent acidity, fine tannin, good finish. Could do with a little more bottle age.
